Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born November 18th, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father, was an ordained pastor from Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix showed an early aptitude in sports as she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talents at the moment. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks after her first trial. Felix had graduated high school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. She then attended in the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. One year later Felix won her very first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking a junior world record by running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion for the 200m race. The title was upheld for the second time in 2007 beating her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix was an avid competitor in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She often finished in the top three of all races.
