Charisma Carpenter
Charisma Carpenter (born July 23, 1970) is an American actor from America. [1] She was Cordelia Chase, a supernatural drama show Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999), and its spin-off series Angel (1999–2004). She also appeared on Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012 strong>
Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada) as the daughter of Christine Carpenter, a bird sanctuary worker,and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was one of the students at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] Carpenter was also a member of a dance and song group that performed in the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was just nine years old.
When Carpenter was 15 years old, her family relocated to Rosarito Beach, Baja California Mexico[2] and later to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter went on a trip around Europe following her graduation. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a clerk at a video store, an aerobics instructor, and also in property management. She was a cheerleader with San Diego Chargers football in 1991. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.
Henry Hubbard Jr. was an ex- San Diego officer and serial criminal who tried to control her and two male friends when they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. During the fight she and her companions as well as Hubbard were shot, forcing Hubbard to flee the scene The two friends escaped the attack. Hubbard was found guilty and sentenced to a 56-year imprisonment for a series of rapes and thefts. Carpenter took Hubbard his flashlight from the police station on the beach. This flashlight proved to be crucial evidence against Hubbard.
Carpenter was ranked No. Carpenter was No. 31 on AskMen's Top 99 Desirable Women 2002[30[30. 44 on their 2005 list. Carpenter declared that she doesn't consider herself to be a sex symbol however she does consider herself a sex symbol. Carpenter was featured on the cover of Playboy magazine's June 2004 issue. She also appeared in a ten-page nude photograph. People magazine asked her 2005 to pose for Playboy. Playboy was a decision I made with a specific reason. It was a wise financial decision. I also believed it was the best choice for me. I'd just had my child and had gained about 50 pounds during pregnancy. I wanted to return the person I was before. I wanted to be beautiful and sexy. So I thought, 'What could I do if I went all out'
